Andre Fabre ponders Waldgeist future plans

No decision has been created over whether Prix de lArc de Triomphe winner Waldgeist will run.
The five-year-old has got the option of running at the Breeders Cup last year because he did, but retirement has been mooted at the wake of Sundays success.
Having been supporting Permit on the 3 occasions they had met, he arrived with a determined run down the trail under Pierre-Charles Boudots centre to prevent John Gosdens filly from producing background with a third Arc triumph.
His potential is undetermined yet, I need to discuss it with the owners and watch, Fabre informed the PA news agency.
Hes perfect today, in good form, I have very happy with him.
This was a terrific trip by Pierre-Charles. He arrived wider to the floor that was greater, the longer at Longchamp matches him and he waited for the perfect moment.
Everything went well, it was a wonderful moment.
Fabre was by Victor Ludorum who kept his unbeaten record at the Jean-Luc Lagardere, however, the filly Savarin discovered the testing ground in the Marcel Boussac against her.
I was concerned about running Victor Ludorum around the floor because he had never faced it before – in the morning or on the course – so that I was delighted that he demonstrated he could manage it, said Fabre.
He won nicely. Hes got a bright future. Well keep him at home for a Traditional effort and your French Guineas.
Savarin didnt manage the ground in any way, She is a light filly with a beautiful action and she couldnt handle this sort of floor.
She will stay next year, but she must not be over-raced.
