Andre Fabre ponders Waldgeist future plans

No decision has yet been created over if Prix p lArc de Triomphe winner Waldgeist will operate.
The five-year-old does have the choice of running in the Breeders Cup this past year, because he did, but retirement has been mooted in the wake of Sundays success.
Having been on the three previous occasions they had met supporting Permit, he arrived with a determined run down the trail under Pierre-Charles Boudots middle from producing background using a third Arc triumph to stop the filly of John Gosden.
His future is undetermined however, I want to discuss it with the owners and see, Fabre informed the PA news service.
Hes perfect now, in wonderful form, I have very pleased with him.
This was a fantastic ride by Pierre-Charles. He came wider for the floor that was greater, the more at Longchamp suits him and he waited patiently for the moment.
Everything went well, it was a wonderful day.
Fabre was by Victor Ludorum who maintained his unbeaten record in the Jean-Luc Lagardere, but the testing floor was found by the filly Savarin at the Marcel Boussac against her.
I had been concerned about conducting Victor Ludorum on the floor because he had never faced it before – either in the morning or over the path – so I was thrilled that he demonstrated he could manage it, said Fabre.
He won nicely. He has a bright future. Well keep him at home for a Traditional campaign and your French Guineas.
Savarin didnt handle the floor whatsoever, She is a mild filly with a beautiful activity and she could not deal with that sort of ground.
She will stay well next year, but she must not be over-raced.
