At The Mint List Interiors, we have an ongoing obsession with salvaged materials that can be repurposed for use in our interior design projects. There’s no better feeling than finding a hoard of reclaimed tiles that you and your client loves and identifying a perfect setting for them, perhaps on a bathroom floor or hallway floor. The area in question immediately becomes part of a bigger narrative with a totally unique sense of heritage. When it works well, it’s the stuff of magic. However, it’s not the easiest design choice as the quantities have to be spot on, the tiles may need restoration and your tiler may take one look and run for the hills. But fear not! We’ve found some beautiful bricks and tiles that evoke that irresistible, reclaimed charm and they won’t scare the bejeebers out of your tiler. What’s more we’re SUPER excited to be selling them on The Mint List website. Have look below and if you need any help or advice with your design project we would be happy to chat to you about your specific requirements.
These GEOMETRIC BRICK TILES are beyond awesome. As an alternative to the ubiquitous yuppy fence (you know the one we mean), these fabulous 3D tiles are evocative of the architecture of the far flung fincas of Granada. These tiles can be used as wall toppers or space dividers for both inside and out. They come in a natural finish of Terracotta or Sand; and a range of stunning glazed colours from minimalist white to to more adventurous midnight blues and pale greens.
These ARTFULLY DISTRESSED BUMP TILES are perfect for a variety of floor and wall finishes. Immediately evocative of the faded grandeur of country house kitchens (think Mrs Patmore’s splash back if you will), these ceramic tiles come in boxes of twenty five with five subtle pattern variations. The MELLOW PORCELAIN PLAIN TILES come in a variety of mellow vintage tones and look brilliantly authentic. A fabulous way of bringing rustic decadence to a kitchen, bathroom or hallway. Our brand new DISTRESSED METRO TILES are vintage twist on the common place metro tile…same look but with a rustic feel. Click to order or to receive a sample.

The Mint List is hugely excited to be the exclusive seller of these unique, exquisitely crafted veneer panels.
The former seventies go-to solution for Manhattan Office blocks or hotel lobbies (think Grand Budapest Hotel) has spent some time in the wilderness, however veneers are now making a comeback.
Veneers are paper thin pieces of wood which are laser or hand cut before being pressed on to board using traditional marquetry techniques. These traditional veneer panels can be used as small format repetitive panels or as large format panels and are priced by the square metre.
Wall panels, doors, cabinet doors and room dividers are just a few possibilities. Kitchen cupboard doors are a fabulous option for these veneer panels. The panels are designed and hand crafted in Wales using traditional techniques by surface designer / artist Emma Wood.

The vintage trestle table is back with a new identity. Once, the faithful friend of the decorator and artist, vintage furniture lovers will love our trusted fold-away, space-saving table which has had a rebirth as a dining table and even a vintage desk. A reclaimed timber trestle desk evokes creativity, warmth and a sense of nature which seems like a far cry from flatpack, plastic furniture alternatives.
Architects, interior designers, event planners, journalists and designers have all bought these beautiful rustic tables from The Mint List because they are very well suited to those with creative careers. Perhaps this is because creating the right work environment is so important that some people say it can mean a difference in productivity by roughly twenty percent. (Twenty percent! That’s a surely means a pay rise this year?) Therefore for those creative beings that are setting up office there’s no need to skulk toward a mundane office supplier because our rustic trestle tables perfectly serve the purpose, as rustic utility tables, bringing a creative warmth to the space where you conduct your business affairs. Anything to help you stay inspired at work.
Another reason people love our vintage trestle table is because it’s an excellent option for tight spaces with bench seating or a banquette. What’s more, as kitchen or dining room tables, these immediately make a space feel homely and totally timeless as the vintage table tops are sanded, stained and waxed to bring out the natural grain and patina of the wood.
Next we make sure the legs are sturdy and paint them in a chalky wash of colour and you can even choose a chalk paint colour for the table legs in Farrow and Ball ‘Bone’, ‘Railings’, ‘Downpipe’ and ‘All White’. Finally, your handcrafted tables is couriered out to you taking approximately 10 days arrive because each table is made to order. In conclusion, whether it’s used as a creative desk, a kitchen table or a stow-away useful piece for dinner parties, it seems that the good old fashioned trestle is still getting a whole lotta love.
