Phil Neville says he’s”100 percent happy” as England Women’s boss despite links to the United States Women’s vacancy.
Ahead of Tuesday’s defeat at Bergen, it was reported Neville was that the number one target of world champions.
However, if asked about the rumours after the game, Neville – who’s defined to be in control of a Great Britain team at the summer’s Tokyo Olympics – said:”I have been linked with lots of jobs since becoming England manager and that’s because my players’ve been so good.
“I’ve mentioned earlier, I love the job I’m doing, it’s a tremendous challenge.
“The players ‘ are heading in the right direction and I get endorsed unbelievably from the FA. So I am 100 percent happy.”
England’s defeat to Norway means the Lionesses have gone four games without a win because their 3-0 World Cup victory.
During Tuesday’s game, the Football Association announced the next fixture will be a friendly against Brazil at Middlesbrough’s Riverside Stadium on October 5.
And Neville said:”We have another game then that we’ll announce shortly, and I’ve said to them we must win both games. We have to start winning games again and playing better.”
